SFIVET meets BIBB and UNEVOC in Bonn

On 3 June 2016, the members of the SFIVET Board and SFIVET Executive Committee travelled to Bonn to meet with the head of the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) and the head of UNESCO's International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (UNEVOC) with the aim of strengthening future cooperation.

Cooperation with the BIBB, which has a similar remit as SFIVET, has existed for quite some time, particularly in the area of research. This meeting of the two sister organisations took place at BIBB headquarters in Bonn. There, both sides presented the latest developmets and the presidents agreed to work together to intensify international cooperation in vocational education and training and to pursue joint projects aimed at promoting the strengths of dual-track VET.
