The BILT project seeks to support TVET institutions in addressing the transformation challenges and to explore innovative approaches and new practices. It is carried out in collaboration with the UNEVOC Network, with support of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training SFIVET, BIBB and sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF. Five experts' workshops are organized between September and December 2019, covering the five thematics of the BILT project; Greening, Digitalization, Migration, Entrepreneurship, New qualifications, and competencies.
Around 25 participants from various educational institutions around Europe attended the workshop on «new qualifications and competencies», organized at SFIVET in Renens. The 2-day program consisted of open discussions and exchanges of good practices on different challenges that face TVET such as accessibility, qualifications framework, integration of transversal competencies, curriculum reforms, among others.
SFIVET is a member of the UNEVOC network since June 2019.
