Evaluation of Canton of Zurich’s „Talentförderung in der Berufsbildung im Kanton Zürich” Project
By defining and developing various measures and incentives at all three learning sites, the Canton of Zurich’s “Talentförderung in der Berufsbildung” project is aimed at specifically fostering talented learners in VET.
The project should ensure that VET programmes fully take into account different levels of aptitude and performance, in keeping with the recommendations made in the Federal Council Report released in September 2013. SFIVET’s Evaluation Unit was tasked with preparing an evaluation of the project on the basis of an interim project report dated 30 April 2015.
The Canton of Zurich’s “Talentförderung in der Berufsbildung” project was critically assessed on the basis of document analysis and a partly pre-determined list of questions. The findings from the evaluation will be used to decide on subsequent action steps.
