Miriam Grønning awarded doctorate in sociology

Miriam Grønning, who has worked as a scientific collaborator at SFIVET since 2015, has successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Institutional characteristics of upper secondary vocational education and training in Switzerland: How do they affect VET diploma holders’ early labour market outcomes?” She was supervised by Prof. Dr. Christian Imdorf (Leibniz University Hannover) and Prof. Dr. Irene Kriesi (SFIVET). This also means a promotion at SFIVET. Not only will Miriam Grønning now hold a PhD, she can also continue her academic work at SFIVET as a senior researcher.
