Swiss apprenticeship schemes now present on European platform CEDEFOP
The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) has recently released its latest update for the European database on apprenticeships schemes.
Performed by its network of apprenticeship experts, it collects and presents structured and comparable information on the apprenticeship schemes of part of the Member States of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Developed for the first time by the Swiss representative at the heart of this expert community, Mergim Jahiu of SFUVET, Switzerland's country card describes our dual-track VET in 36 points.
Generally, the database enables the apprenticeship schemes of the of the 17 represented countries to be accessed and compared. This is done through various criteria related to elements of development, governance and implementation of vocational training models.
